Anderson Composites vs. C7 Carbon

Any opinions between the two as relating to their respective carbon fiber 1LE rear wings that are direct bolt-ons to the ZL1?

They’re roughly the same price, both full CF and both 3-4 weeks backordered. But C7 offers free shipping while every vendor that carries AC charges $2-300 for shipping, which is a bit tough to swallow.

Anybody with either product?

I have Anderson hood and trunk. C7 splitter side panels.

I would say both are of equal quality. Fit and finish for both are excellent.

No comparison, Anderson is the gold standard.

While I don't have my AC wang yet....still in the mail...I did do a lot of digging...no one really complains about the AC wing but they complain and I can vouch for their slow AF shipping and getting products out....C7 used to have fitment issues but that was a bit ago....they very well could've sorted that out....if there are issues with C7 their customer service seems to be at the top of the game when it comes to making it right so imo....you can't go wrong with either....

AC had a bad run of wings last year where the mounting hole jig was off and caused the holes to be off just enough that you couldn't mount the wing without enlarging the trunk holes but they made good on it. They recalled all the bad wings that were unsold and replaced those that had already purchased them. It was very rare for that to happen to Anderson but they handled it very professionally.

And I believe the Anderson are 100% exposed carbon fiber including the mounting stanchions where the C7’s are painted gloss black. Small difference but enough for me to get the Anderson if I can find it.

I have an Anderson 1le wing and true fiber canards/air ducts. Both are fantastic and fit perfectly. I've heard good things about C7 but I've never used them.

I think the TruFiber one is new for them. I do have their Zl1 1LE carbon fiber canards and they are good quality and had no problems installing them. The alignment was spot on.

I have some Anderson composite parts that cracked. No customer support. My APR parts are fine.

There's a very long thread about aftermarket wings on here. Like a poster above mentioned, AC had some fitment issues. I took a gamble and bought an AC wing used off of someone from craigslist since it was half the price. The wing itself fits into the holes in the trunk, but the front of the stanchions sticks up. There is a gap that you can see when you look at it. The front does not sit flush with the trunk. This gap is detailed in depth on the thread, I'll see if I can dig it up.
