Has anybody overlaid dyno's from different SC's?

Not so interested in numbers, but more with the curves. Just trying to compare the different power curves based on different superchargers that are out and was wondering if anybody has compiled them into 1 graph?

i can do if some get me graph of simular modded cars..
like i have vortech, & headers.. boosting 9psi
find maggie with headers at 8.5psi then we should be even and we can overlay dynos..

If anyone wants to send me dynojet run time files, I'll load them up in our computer and over lay them. I've got a stock magnusson graph we can go off of

holy shit dude. over 600 @ the tire with only 8 lbs? what are your supporting mods other than the headers? that torque curve is friggin sweet...thats exactly what these heavy cars need...nice, broad flat torque curve. PD blower is the only way to go with these cars.

That looks right. Is the boost really the same level? A centrifugal will kill a KB, Maggie or Whipple 7psi or more on the top end. This graph looks like it was made by a KB guy

well no but it averages out me with lower boost..
I'll count racing rpms 4500 to 6500rpms
at 4500rpms 5.1psi
5000rpms 6.0psi
5500rpms 7.2psi
6000rpms 8.5psi
6500rpms 9.8psi

averages to 7.32psi

I have the small vortech. Didnt have the $7,300 for bigger one which would of been about 620wHP
These two cars be about even in a race.. KB makes tons of low end tq but you mostly race 4500rpms to redline..
Vortech builds power more smoothly to help with traction which helps me alot since Im planning on running street tires..
Plus vortech cheaper..

Everyone talks about too much torque - no such thing. If it is all about drag racing the centrifugal is better. If you want low speed stunt driving on the street the KB will be a great choice.

haha..
im not knocking low end tq.. its nice to not have to down shift sometimes..
just pointing out the pros of vortech..
Im a daily driven over 20K miles a year car. Im planning on running stock tires and worried about breaking things so vortech was just the better choice for me.. plus cant beat the price and ease of installation.

Graph wasnt made by a KB guy. We took the car to dyno-lab, who has no affiliation with KB whatsoever, APF tuned the car, and the guy that ran the dyno emailed me the dyno sheet as I sat there and watched him. Im not about posting up any misleading info. on here. Just trying to help out, and show my results with the mods I have done to the car.
