Even more mods with mistakes, but corrected with no damage. And he didn't hide the mistake,he owned up to it. Just another Big reason Big Red gets my nomination again for COTW-----Just wondering what the hold up is????? Just Saying

Thanks guys! I'm glad I'm done with the emblem work! me and sticky things, paint, adhesives, vinyls, etc. don't get along too good! End results are worth the aggravation though!

Thanks Ivan! BTW, did you ever get a replacement emblem for the one that you lost in the wash? You can see why I removed my LS3's for the new 6.2L's! |

OK, I feel compelled to post a disclaimer! I am NOT trying to make my car look like a ZL1! lol! I can't stand when ppl rebadge thier cars to look like something they're not! I haven't had anyone say it to me but I feel kinda guilty I guess.
Anyway, with that said I must reveal my latest mod. I have already installed a ZL1 grill and a ZL styled front splitter, and now it's ZL1 side skirts! I must say that this is the look I have envisioned my Camaro to be WELL before the ZL1. Black mesh style wheels, SLP style splitter, side skirts like the Lenno car, quad exhaust tips, etc. I had the wheels and tips on before they came out with the ZL1 and I happen to like the grill better than any other out there! So now that I have the side skirts I may be forced into getting the ZL1 rear diffuser to finish the look! Oh this is such an addiction, when will it ever end? |

Looks AWESOME! as far as the ZL1 imitation, I wouldn't worry about it. As lonng as don't put ZL1 badges, I don't see why someone would say your trying to pass it odd as a ZL1.
Your just trying to personalize your ride. Same as you would if you were to put an after market body kit. It's just that the GM stuff IMO is much nicer than anything after market. Plus the after market stuff gets dated and go out of style. The GM parts will always be classy. So stand proud and enjoy your ride |

Looks great! Those side skirts go perfect with the splitter! I agree with Nate who cares, I personally love the ZL1 front bumper. As long as we aren't putting false badges I think it's alright |

I think the ZL1 skirts/splitter really flow very well with the lines of the car. They are subtle and give the car a more racy appearance without being over the top.
Looks great mike. BTW Shoot me a PM sometime about your wheels. I'm considering F14's in the spring and I want to know who you bought them from etc. Thanks!! P.S. This car DEFINITELY needs a COTW nomination.

Rain, rain, rain, nothing but rain! :( In fact it's in the forcast until next Saturday! Gotta love the northeast in late October! BIG RED is just sitting in the garage waiting for a sunny day....and so am I! I refuse to store him yet so I'll wait for the first snowflakes then say goodbye till Spring!
Anyway, the crappy weather gave me time to ponder more mods! I started digging around my parts heap when I pulled out the box I had the emblem removals from the side fender Emblempros Onyx ones I installed. Hmmm, where can I use these? There's already 2 Camaro emblems so I thought I'd just put them back when it hit me! So here's what I did yesterday! |
