LT Headers and x-pipe going on next week, I am installing myself and then wanting to get a tune...I know dyne tunes are preferred but the closest shop to me that does this is over 5 hours away.

Handheld tuners? Email tunes? Im just looking for a little bit of guidance.

Thanks in advance!

Best thing if your gonna do the remote thing is make sure that your data logging and that they give you a good base file for your mods. Not all cars are the same. Also are you an auto or manual?

So I have had my steering shaft disconnected for about 2 years and now it seems to tight to get the two pieces back together would a steering knuckle spreader work to do this?

Hi guys, I have some mods to install end of month and wonder if i should stop and stay where my car is at as i plan on buying /following through on a lifetime track membership that was offered pre pavement 15% off a few hours from me.
I have since prior to the track announcement in a box a BTR stage 3 cam and kooks long tube headers with cats they will be bolting onto the stock NPP back end. My big concern is noise violations as car already is good and obnoxious with the JBA shorty Solo high flow stock cam

If it is too loud what are my options?

Throttle body spacer

Hi all! Not sure if this is the right thread but does anyone know if the throttle body can be turned 180 degrees to the right to incorporate 3/4” throttle body spacer on a 2013 l99?

issues after cam swap

Ok so here are the parts/mods first
diff has been swapped to 3.73 gears
trans now has a 4000 stall converter
motor I used a TSP 4.2 vvt cam kit so it has hardened pushrods the valve springs and the whole kit done.
kooks longtubes with cat delete to x pipe to borla atak
160 t stat
udp
taylor wires
tuner I used reccommended tr6ix plugs

I can get it to start but its extremely rough (i get its a cam but let me expound)
cel is now flashing showing misfire issue
ive talked with the tuner and basically the responses ive gotten are i know what im doing you must have ****ed something up sort of deal.
after the first go I got paranoid and tore the front back down to find yes indeed im not a dumbass and had the marks inline. went through torquing down the rocker arms again to make sure everything is good so mechanical timing is right.

what am I missing Its driving me nuts.

Yes, it can be. I can't remember if you'll have to extend your harness though. I had to do it with a Nick Williams 102MM for clearance.

I'd find someone (other than the tuner) to look over the tune before I went much further. Could there be a vacuum leak?
