Drag setup

Looking for some info/input. I’ve been looking at the jegs ssr spike wheels I love the design but I’m only seeing them in 17x8 and for front runners 17x4.5. Is that to small for a 5th gen. And would they even fit? Newish to wheel and back spacing requirements for this car. (Not going to a 15in conversion) also looking to just stick to a MT ET Street R. Also considering bmr trailing arms. Do they help that much it that’s all I’m looking at doing? Any input helps.
Current mods:
Cai, headers, 3400 converter, tune, 3.91s. Camming soon. Just knocking the small gains out first and want to be able to make it all come together.
Thanks Matt

I have the jegs 17x4.5 and they just barely clear the brembos. You'll have to cut off the roller skates on your pads if you have them. Can't help you much on the back as I'm on 18x9.5 Corvette wheels.

Trailing arms help, make sure to get the outer bushings as well. I still had wheel hop issues even after the trailing arms. I now have solid subframe bushings, BMR toe rods and the bmr extreme drag bar and I've not had the car even think about wheel hoping even with a 10.5" slick. Same mods as you expect I'm Ls3.

Do you run the ssr spike wheel from jegs?
