Front Black Valence

Does the front valence provide any function other then getting pulled by curbs? Mine is basically coming off and hanging of like 3 fasteners and would rather throw it out then to keep trying to put it back on.

I just replaced mine. Also ruined by pulling forward into curbs at parking lots. It was
about $110.00 retail and only took a few minutes to replace. To answer your question it
keeps road dirt down and away from entering your engine compartment. Replace it IMO.

It reduces lift and drag by routing air around the car instead of going underneath. More useful at highway speeds than tooling around town.

I think every car produced in the last 30+ years has one. It's an inexpensive basic aerodynamic improvement.

Replace and get the curb alert. I only used it for about 4 months until I got a feel for the front end and how close to the curb. I still have it on for my daughter who drives it just in case.

This. I back in to parking lots with curbs or with concrete blocks.
