Or simply put, an SS with a Pedders suspension and front fascia and hood from the ZL1? I think Pete would be making a lot of money at $41,900.

Or did you want the full zoot suede interior bits?

You'll have to ask Pete if they include that. I'm pretty sure I can safely speak for GM and say they wouldn't include that...............at 10 x the price. But it's a nice thought.

First let me say i think this thread should just be made into its own Forum.

Now the matter of the Z28, those of us now really pushing for it know we cant have dramatic weight loss and are ok with it for many reasons. First off the gen 5 cg is low and while there is weight savings we would like to see, such as no electric seats, we know it wont be much. We also know that even at 3800, 3900, or 4000 lbs we can use that weight to help us and not hurt us in the corners with a good suspension. I believe the FE4 package is a great sign of what can be done and am ready to see it in action.

Now the engine is a whole different story since we don't have many options. For most of us we would like to a dual release of the new GenV V8's in both the 2013 vette and the 2013 Camaro Z28. This gives us Z28 guys exactly what we want in a motor at this time. Now another idea is the use of forged internals to give a higher redline, which also give a desired effect for a road course car. The Ls7 is out of reach for us due to cost, although it is a better motor option then just leaving in the Ls3.

The mystery of the century is if GM will "save it" for the 6thgen Camaro, or not...

What about the other ZL1 goodies?

I'll take the ZL1, but I don't need the supercharger and prefer an adjustable suspension. Oh and I like the look of the ZL1's hood and front end it's just if your are gonna make the Z** it should look a little different. Don't cha think?

If there is to be one, it should be more than just a badge. You should know that it's different watching it drive down the road.

I'm in full agreement!
Come to think of it that Leno design was quite sporty. And what ever happened to that grill design?

SS with some forged internals, NA, an that revs makes 480 hp w/ the Leno Hood and fascia and I might put money down today, I just can't stand the look of the ZL1 hood and fascia. No suede

You can't satisfy everyone. Me, other than the LED lamps, I don't see much in the Leno car at all. The hood is a non starter for me.

Not that I'd reject it if it were there and gave us the powertrain and/or chassis that everyone is wanting.

Yup that's for sure I know there was a thread on the Zl1 vs Leno car (Hood/Fascia) and it seem about 50% or more went with the Leno car. One thing about styles they always change.
