Anyone get GAP insurance for their Vert

My lender is offering free GAP insurance with the loan on my vert. But the loan is .04% higher than the lowest rate I have found. Is GAP insurance worth the extra .04%. Steve

I'd say yes. .04% is only an extra dollar a month.

An extra buck a month is cheap insurance should the unthinkable happen...

.04%? I didn't know rates changed in that increment... I say do it. How much are you putting down on the car? That determines if you need it or not

yes. With USAA it is $249 dollars, but that is a lot less than if something were to happen in the next 18 months or so when the depreciation is well ahead of my payments.

I should correct my facts 3.09 % the lowest I found and 3.34 with the GAP the difference in the payments will be $3.00 a month. It would be a no brainier to not take advantage of the GAP Steve

I went with the GAP insurance too. It was only a couple dollars more a month. I wanted the peace of mind since this is my only vehicle

I went ahead and got it. I would rather have it and not need it, compared to needing it and NOT having it...
