reguardless to answer you question, no, don't do it. Any benefit gained from these new brakes would never justify the cost for putting them on there. that is unless they are free and you plan on doing it your self. Otherwise leave your breaks as they are and enjoy your car.

Unless someone can come up with the piston size of the SS camaro's OEM caliper, then there is no way to compare it to existing Z06 data. Just because it's brembo doesn't really mean much... what does matter is total surface contact area, caliper material/construction type, etc.
Anyone have the Z specs avail? Just judging by the driving style each respective car was built for -- I'd say the 'vette has the advantage. |

I am no BRAKE expert... by all means it is your car do what you want. As to the above poster... you are right, specs are the only thing we could use to compare.
The Camaro is heavier, there for we can assume that the difference in brakes could be minimal due to the stopping power needed for each car, no one will ever know until they try it... and abuse it. |

The Z06 brakes are 6 piston 14.4" up front and 4 piston 14.0" rear. Chances are you will more than likely have to change your rotors and maybe even your wheels as the Z06 brakes will not fit a regular C6's wheel.
