Engine Swap?
Since the LF3 and LF4 are evolutions of the LFX motor, would it be easy to swap one of those into our V6s?

I doubt it. As modern cars become more reliant on computers and sensors, as well as tying tons of features into them, they are also becoming harder and harder to engine swap.
You would need to swap harnesses and computers, as well as an engine, and then hope that your car can receive such harnesses, or be able to emulate things.

there are a couple threads around about people attempting a v6 to ls3 swap with a long list of nightmares. You are better off selling the car and buying an SS by a long shot.

It won't be easy, but I'm sure it could be done with enough $$$.

even if you were successful the VIN wouldnt match up.it would never be worth what a factory SS would be worth in the same condition.

I would be interested to see if anyone has successfully completed a manual conversion to an A6 Camaro.
I know, makes much more sense to just trade, but it is cool to see stuff like this work.
