V6 to V8
I know this has been kicked in the head alot, but I'm in the process of trading my 2014 1lt/rs for a 2014 SS/rs. My question is, how night and day are these rides comparable. Will it be a big difference! Any comments will be appreciated!!

I own a 2014 1LT A6 and test drove a 13 2SS 6MT the other day.
Completely different monster.. the low end torque on that thing is ridiculous. Would have bought it, but the dealership and I couldn't come up with an agreement. Kinda glad I didn't buy it, probably would've been in jail right now. |

Big difference performance wise. I would say in normal everyday driving though, where you will see it most is merging in traffic or needing to pass someone quickly for whatever reason. The sound is also much better.

Once you feel the Torq you'll never go back.

I'll put it this way. I rented a v6 in Cali on vacation, my wife said it wasn't fast enough and when we got back I should buy a V8

Apparently there is a HUGE range of opinion for what qualifies as "completely different car" depending on who you ask. And don't forget, there are two different V8's. You have to be specific. Then be prepared to make up your own mind because every opinion you get will be based on an individuals experience...or lack thereof... |

The six is an animal, the eight is a beast.

When I got my SS LS3 I though it was really fast and I would not want more speed. 9 months later and I dont want to wait for it to spool up and start pulling. I want more also. Might start with rear gears. |

I daily drove a 2013 1LS for about a year. While it's plenty of power, you truly don't know what you're missing out on. In my head I told myself 'this is plenty of power' however when I bought my SS I immediately regret not doing it earlier. I then owned both for about 6 months. While the v6 doesn't have to be fueled as frequently and uses cheaper grade gas, it's totally worth it to make the switch when you consider how much more fun the v8 is. Eventually I sold the v6 and now daily my SS. Just remember nothing is ever enough with these cars. You'll get the mod bug eventually.

Never driven a V6 Camaro. I want to though so I can see the difference.
