PM me what you want for the polishes. Not interested in the pads.

Almost looks like holograms, how much compound/polish are you using to prime the pad?

I was using very little, 4 small drops to prime the pad, then 3 once I couldn't get anymore out of it with detail spray. I noticed the m105 would dry up really fast on me, even though I was working in the shade and cool temp.

You should have used more to prime but it definitely didn't cause that much damage.

Someone mentioned to me it looks like my towel caused that effect, by the side to direction the holograms are. Is that possible? I was using a soft clean MF towel. Either way I'm not messing with it anymore.

Where did you buy the towel? Did you wash it with powder soap? Hot dry it? The only real way to test if it's scratching your paint is to get a new CD and use the towel to rub the crap out of the face of it and then look at in sunlight to see if there are any small scratches. If so, it's the towel. Or at least some of it is.

just a regular mf towel from autozone, washed with other mf towels, low heat, and hand dried. I did recently pick up some microfiber madness towels, but have not used them yet.

Damn this post makes me want to reconsider buying a PC for Xmas!! If I were to do that with my car, I would have a shit fit for sure.

I think I can live with my micro scratches now.

Man that really got away from you. So sorry it turned out like that.

Take it to a pro and stick to products applied by hand from now on. Go with some Adams products use the steps and stick to their script...
