The 8-speed automatic BLOWS.
I have it in my '15i Escalade.
I would not recommend it to anyone, it is sloppy, clunky and unrefined....
Back to the topic at hand...I too am on the fence, I have my eye on a certain color '13 ragtop..six speed of course...I usually like the latest and greatest, but have learned a lesson with the Cadillac...

To each their own, it shifts nice in the Corvette and Camaro.

Congratulations with your 2012 ZL1, truly a vintage year!!! I have a 2012 ZL1 that I will not trade for a Sixth Gen. ZL1 unless it is truly a huge advancement in many areas. Although the 6th Gen. SS is almost as fast as a ZL1, it will never be a ZL1! Best of luck with your new car.

The fact that the car was a 2012 was a huge draw. Really wanted the original year, as I intend to keep this car.

I don't usually go for first year models, but I am not into having a touch screen in a muscle car. KaBoom might have different thoughts!! HAHAHAHA!
