Question Instrument Panel Dont Work On Hot Days...

I've noticed that on my early 2010-RS that the dash panel dont calibrabte properly on hot days. Its happened last year a few times and quite a bit this year. Here is what I know...

When the temp is above 95 outside and the car is sitting in the sun when I get in at 5:30 eastern time and its hot the gagues wont calibrate (move to full scale and back). When this happens the RPM gauge will never work and the rest fail for a random amount of time. The car has sat all day while I'm at work so its only solar heat. Somtimes the RPM gage will eventually work but mostly not. When it does it is usally the wrong RPM. The odometer, gas, and temp will all start working at the same time. If I park it for a short duration after driving, and get back in and drive again then they all seem to work again. Also I noticed it seem to happen when I start it remotely and get in to drive or "short" start the ignition and let the autostart finish starting the car. The only common thing I have found is the hot summers in Virginia. I know that there are a lot of others in areas hotter than here. This is one of the first cars that were made so its an early model.

Has anyone else seen this issue or a TSB been issued?

Im also suffering from the loose spoiler and now have the nuts rattling in the body of the trunk...Plan on seeing the dealer for this! I found the TSB thanks to Camaro5! Thanks Guys...

I have checked the TSB through my resources and it is as stated above though I cannot confirm that this TSB is the fix for the issue that you are having. I also agree that you should have your vehicle checked by your local dealership. They would be able to determine whether or not the TSB from above does or does not apply to your vehicle.

Hi last year GM had a set up that when you went in to the dealer, The dealer ordered you a new Cluster after getting your info, And then they had to call a some GM place and up date the new Cluster.

AS for this guy Vehicle, This Cluster problems was on early 2010 cars, And that is what he said.
