From what I've read it's definately worth it to clay first. Have you read through all the FAQS and tips/tricks on the zaino website already?

If it's a brand new car, don't worry about it. If it's got a brand new paint job, don't worry about it. If you just did it last week, don't worry about it.

If anything other than that, go for it!

clay bar it and have at it!

But, after reading the thread title, I was like, DAYUM!!! That was the name of the sutff I wanted to buy!! Thanks!

Tag, I did a lot of research on Zaino, i've seen absolutely amazing results... the product developers designed Zaino for brand new car paint. they reccomend the claybar on a new car to take out any of the imperfections... Not sure i'll waste the bars on my car cause i'll just be trading it in on the Camaro

are you going to Zaino your Camaro too? they sell a showcar kit for like 89.00 and you get 10.00 off on their special bucket as well.

I use the Zaino system on our Tahoe. Overall, the paint looks BETTER than it did when it was new. Zaino somehow adds a deep look to paint. My favorite attribute is that it actually lasts for a long time. I tested this last year when I applied it in the Spring and it was still beading flawlessly in the Fall. I love it when a product performs as advertised. Good stuff man -- you'll love it.

BTW -- If you don't clay, just know that you won't be seeing the full potential of the Zaino system.

You should also do it to a brand new car ,because they ship alot of cars by train. The rail dust embeds into the paint, also ones shipped by boat have diesel fuels on them and other chemicals. When i get my car, after the inital joy ride,im taking it home and giving it the full treatment that very day.Its also good to do it while the car is new to get a good base coat for protection.Zaino has UV blockers to protect against fading

Zaino is AMAZING stuff. every other product just sits on the shelves now, as nothing comes close to the shine, durability, ease of use etc..

Here are some pictures of my Z28 that I sold in September after being treated with Zaino products, and also my current Trailblazer.

Wow! Excellent Pics!! That does it. I'm ordering my Zaino kit as soon as I find out my Camaro has been pulled for production!!

I ordered the Zaino too... and used it on a brand new gray Mustang... (my wifes).

It is what they say it is. It takes a long time, but it is worth it.

Do the claybar! I think you only use it once for the life of the car... as long as you keep it protected.

I did this... Dawn wash, claybar w/ the Dawn wash, dry, Z-aio, wipe, Z5, wipe, Z6, Z2, wipe, Z8, Z-CS, Z8.... and WOW!!

I would use 1 of the Z-18 bars on the Monte and the other on the Camaro. Save both of them, but use the one for the Monte on any other car so you can save the Camaro bar for the Camaro... just in case you ever have to have a panel repainted or rebuffed.

Just clay a small section and take a look at the clay when your done. You'll sh*t at how much stuff was left on after a wash!!!

Do they sell a starter kit with everything you need for a brand new car?
