Cant go wrong with Royal Purple. I have RP in my gears and there was a noticeable difference. I run AMSOIL in my engine right now, and don't use Mobil 1 anymore. Gotta keep her clean

Royal Purple is good. So is Amsoil. Penz Ultra. Redline. Pretty much all of the top brands will keep your car running top notch.

I have used Royal Purple in several of my cars including my 2002 Camaro SS. As far as I am concerned it is good stuff.

I've always used it in my 4th gen. Every time I've had the engine apart, it's looked beautiful, even with severe abuse. When I did my 1st oil change in my 5th gen, I put RP in it. I just did my 2nd oil change & put M1 back in just because of the price. What can I say, I'm a cheap ass. I think all of the major synthetics are top notch these days & you really can't go wrong with any of them.
