Back again and faster but still slow

Hey all. Got another 3 runs in this last Sunday, times getting better but still have room for improvement compared to similar set ups.

Got to the track 40 mins later than my friends because of my 2 week old splitter being ripped off on some highway fun hahahahaha man what a waste of money. Had to pull over at a gas station, park half way on top of a curb, buy a screwdriver and dismantle it. Got 2 screws in my daily rear tire also. Fun.

Anyway, track was busy as crap and I was on limited time again, only got 3 runs in. 12.3 first, then 12.02 and 12.05 at 112 and 109 mph. Top end seems low still - I was hitting 115 on street tires but at 12.6, don't really know how that adds up. This is on stock size front tires/wheels and the 18" c6 with Mickey 305/45/18 in the back

Any more suggestions?
NA guys running 10.9-11 have you done any weight reduction? How much of a difference do skinnies up front make?

Do you have your own copy of HPT so you can log? If so this should be straightforward to figure out.

I discussed this with some friends and the tuner earlier. I don't have hp tuners so I'd have to drop some money to do data logging. I agree that might be the quickest solution to all issues. Going to have to wait months for that though wedding and honeymoon have taken all of my car money

dynoSteve at RDP has a SCT/tune deal way cheaper and I can data log if need be...one option that gets the job done quicker...give him a pm or call...good luck!

BTW - mayhem motorsport tune? not familiar..they won't re-tune if it's wrong? If I had your heads and similar cam...jeez I would hope I would be low 11's easy...another thing lookin at your converter stall...prob could be higher which would help with the 60'...keep us posted!

Mayhem is the tuner I went to here where I live. GPI recommended a 4k, I would like to go back in time and get that one instead. Stuck with this one though, can't afford to swap them out.

I haven't just asked them about straight up retuning. Like "HEY this car should be faster do it again!" Not sure how to proceed with that lol. The owner is awesome tho.

I would think a rep tuner would want to stand behind his work and if you showed him that time slip the LEAST he could do would be a quick data log...your 60' is equal to mine and may not change much due to the converter but the top end charge may reflect sub par shift points and hopefully not an internal trans/converter prob..what is the current mileage?

They have updated the shift points for free already, which did net a good .3 off my et. 44k miles, probably 6-8k with these mods. They did say they could do data logging but I'd have to buy the hp tuner
