Are you certain that they didnt mount a 285 on rear 20x11 for the front by accident? If thats not it... perhaps the wheel offsets are defective? Are you lowered or running oem suspension... struts etc? I'd call Carlos at MRR! Who did you purchase the MRR 228s from... surely they'll make it right?

A +23 would have been a better choice and this is the offset and tire size GM engineers
put on the ZL1 and 1LE for this reason along with providing a wider track. The +35’s with a 285 come very close to the strut/springs. Check your camber. Move it to at least -1. You would have no clearance issues with coilovers. |

Wrong offset. It puts your tire 12mm closer to the strut!

STANDARD FITMENT FOR 5TH GEN CAMAROS
20x10 35et 275/35 20x11 43et 315/35/20 we have done hundreds and hundreds of these cars with the same application __________ test fit the wheel on its own on one side of the car after that test it on the opposite side. on another note your going to laugh but ive seen shops place the rear 20x11 in the front and calling us that they dont fit, little do they know even after swearing to god that there shop is a professional blah blah blah they feel a little dumb realizing that the front tire was mounted in the back wheel lol |

I am running that same offset, with Nitto 555G2 285/35/20 and I don't rub the strut at all, it didn't rub with the OEM and it doesn't rub with my Koni Orange. I prefer that offset as the 285 won't poke out of the fender and they do with the 23mm offset. You need to get the car alignment checked, that may be your problem.
