850rwhp with an auto and whipple would be pricey. AGP will do that with ease, and can do 1000+ later. Local guy was doing ~1100 on his, and just decided to upgrade to 1500rwhp. Just up the boost a little.

With the whipple you would want to upgrade the HE, belt drive system, etc. I bet it comes out to a solid $3k+ more than what you would have into the turbos, not even including headers/etc.

Can it be done with a whipple, yes. Can you do it easier, cheaper, and have more room to grow later with turbos, yes. Take the money you save and buy tires/suspension/etc.

I'm getting a little north of 800rwhp with a stock bottom end. Just add forge and turn up the boost. Easy with twins!

800s with a auto using a supercharger ain't easy. I got it done but it took a lot of work.

I have a Procharger and it can be done with the f1 blower. Depending on how efficient the engine is possibly a d1.

I am just over 700 RWHP and love the low rpm instant power. But 850 would get the blower really hot. Meth helps me at 700 but 850 would need more work to keep it cool. Find a car with twins you can test drive that may help you out.

Twins will get you there, my Whipple is a blast to drive though. You could get to 800 but I guess it just depends on your preference. At my power level I don't know that I would feel 90 more horses just to get to 850rwhp without getting it to stick to the ground. It feels incredible as it is but if money is an issue then AGP twins will get you there and more with the right fueling and tuning.

Use the extra money for a clutch, meth, or upgraded fuel system to make 1000+

ECS Kit with the upgraded YSI blower will get you there as well, Aruns car is pushing 815rwhp with cam/1500 blower/meth/headers on an otherwise stock LS3 but through a TR6060.
