9 Year update from long time member

OK...I have an update on my car that I bought on Sept 3, 2010. It is a 2011 2SS. 58,000 miles, daily driver for years, I recently retired and it gets driven a few times a week.

I was an avid follower of this forum and attended the first Indy C5 Fest

The only dealer visit involved the window regulator motor where it tore out, they replaced it. Has never been back

Essentially zero problems. I'm on third set of tires, brakes are fine. I've done semi-minor upgrades and all is well.

All in all, this is one of the best cars I have ever owned. My mods are probably still correct in my signature

Somehow, I cant post pictures, I'll try to revisit this post tomorrow

Cheers

Been on here 7 1/2 yrs. 190,000 miles and 4 cross country trips and no major issues. Just a sensor that got wet twice but finally covered it and no probs the last 1000,000 miles. You go through tires like me. I go thru a lot of rears especially. Still love drivin her every day.

Here are a couple of pictures. I was having some computer issues when I posted.

I failed to mention that I did have a deer hit. That allowed me to do the ZL-1 nose when that was fashionable. I might not have done it if I had it to do over. The last picture is a before

Beautiful car. IMO it has just the right amount of mods. I love how unless you know Camaros, you’d think that GM built it just like that but to the trained eye, I see the changes you’ve done. This is a classy build which will Look great for many years to Come.

Is it lowered at all?

I hit a Racoon on the hwy (felt more like we ran over him) and by the time we got home I'd kinda forgot about it until my wife said "oh s#!t look at this"! The front clip looked like a bowling ball hit it. Anyway, replaced it w/a new one and told the body shop to paint it w/urethane paint (much more chip resistant).

Did the deer strike effect the radiator?

Another satisfied Camaro owner here... at 159.7k miles, its still so amazing to drive. That sound accelerating in traffic... just priceless.

Here's a bit of hope to all of ya planning to keep it for life. These cars are reliable, and a whole mess of fun. Hoping to cross a million one day.

Pic of mine.... because they're gorgeous cars too!

Similar story here! 2012 Bumblebee. Retired so driving my truck for chores more but still love my Bee! Have promised it to my grandson when he's old enough and I’m too old - which is NOT soon.
