ZL1 vs ZLE front bumper clearance

Our 18 ZL1 was backed into Saturday and will need a replacement front bumper and fender. I originally wanted a ZLE for the styling but the suspension was not practical for our use. Does anyone know if there will be a loss of ground clearance by swapping to the ZLE bumper or will they have the same front ground clearance? I would like to upgrade while I have the chance but our driveway is almost too steep for the factory bumper and I would hate to have issues if we decide to go with the ZLE bumper.

The ground clearance is the same on a ZL1 with a 1LE bumper.

I had a buddy over with a ZL1 a while back and we compared the heights to my ZLE. I do remember the front being about 3/4 of a inch different but it could be the wheels. If you need I can take measurements when the rain stops to make sure. Ill have to pull it off the lift.

No worries, I wouldn't mess with it unless you happen to have them together for another reason. Im sure suspension and wheels/tires make a difference in height.

It's the suspension and wheel hight, not the front spoiler. I have the 1LE on my ZL1 and confirm no difference

The ZLE could’ve lowered his front, I think it’s like 10mm of height you can drop “slammed”

Awesome, thanks! Really the only thing I wanted out of a 1LE since it is street only. Unfortunately now is the time to upgrade. 🤬

Sorry for the damage. There are multiple parts that are needed to do the full ZL1 1LE treatment, not just the bumper. The grilles, bezels, dive planes, spoiler, and winglets are all sold separately.
