Mainstream sales is still the big unknown. Only way will be to look at numbers around this same time next year. Otherwise there is no money to afford 24x7 and no where to put the cars... which costs money when cars sit around.

I agree. They are going to be very cautious about having over supply. They don't have the cashflow to build stock right now.

Hylton is close. 6:30am until 2:30. Monday to Friday. Two 10 minute breaks and a 20 minute lunch. As this is a specialty car they won't build way ahead of orders.

Thanks MOLE

That's kinda what I thought, 1 shift 200-300 cars a day. It's impressive to me that a team of people could build that many cars per shift!! Keep up the good work. Can't explain why but, some of us are just crazy excited about getting this car . I don't like waiting but I seem to savoring the anticipation of getting a 2010 SS this summer. Thanks in advance for building it for me!!!!!

"according to the 1-800 number". Just further proof of them having no clue. It doesn't take anywhere close to a month to build your car. They're probably confusing "accepted to production control" with actually being on the line.

See my sig line.. .. I've been at this a while too.. what makes it tough is here we sit on these forums ALL excited about our cars, and not getting anything from GM.. w00t and Heinz's database were helping us destress, but now that might have went away :(, and then we read how folks that didnt even order a car got theirs today right off the lot, and here ALL we LOYAL CAMARO and GM followers sit with our welcome packages... and our PREORDER code on our cars.... oh wait all the cars that are coming out have PREORDER on them.. so nevermind that one...

So we could be really bummed with the above info... but hey soon.. I will finally have the Camaro I knew I always wanted... I may cry a few times first, but over the years I also learned that if something gets screwed up it always impact me... So maybe I went to the wrong dealer? I guess I did since that one up the road will be getting 3 Camaros tomorrow.. and here I sit with nothing......

BUT hey..its Stimulus and it'll help the economy.. I just hope it gets here soon... but hey they told me before June in October when I gave them my money.. so anytimg before that is still a win... right???!!!???

What should happen

Whats probably going to occur. We'll see a prolonged drought followed by a flood of v-6's and the a torrid rush of the cars we ordered. Check the thread in 12 months---we'll all have a car and have forgotten how long it took to get the car. Live on camaros!!!!!!!:headb ang:
