Head Room with Sunroof - Yes another one, new info (maybe)
Read this thread this morning and it brought up an interesting question.
We chalked the headroom issues up to different torso heights in previous threads, but maybe the issue is the seats? Or maybe the other poster got a goofy Camaro. I wanted to make this a poll, but there seems to be too many variables. Please post your height, your Camaro model, and if you have issues. Maybe we'll get a more predictable answer to this question now. OR, someone already solved this, my search skills failed me, and I'm an idiot. Then you can mock me and yell at me for bringing up ANOTHER darn thread about headroom. To start it off, I'm 6'2" and had no issues with headroom in a 1LT. Haven't sat in a 2LT or 2SS yet, so I'll let you know when mine gets here this week. P.S. Check your spoiler bolts, they may be loose!

6'1" 2LT, it's a tight fit, I flip my hair up in the front and at times it touches. However, I wouldn't change the sun roof for an extra 3", well an extra 3" of headroom in the car atleast.....If I start to feel cramped, I just scoot my but down a bit and it gives me a few more inches....or lean back a tad.

Turn it up to 11.

6'1'' 2SS w/sunroof. There are times that my hair hits the roof when I move to check the blind spots, but normally I'm fine. My head never hits the roof.
PS: Love the sun roof. |

5'11" 2SS. I sit considerably lower than in any of my other cars (including my 2007 Corvette). Seat is run all the way down, seat is reclined slightly. If I scrunch down in the seat, headroom is ok. If I had to do it over, I would not have ordered the sunroof...

Jim McIlvaine (yes-- the Basketball player) is 7' 1" tall -- and he sent me a note about two weeks ago -- wanted to let me know that he will fit in a new Camaro without a sunroof........
going back to 2002 -- he ordered a 35th LE convert -- because he could fit in it -- (could not comfortably fit in a Coupe with T-roof and could not get into a Mustang) |

I'm 6' have a 2SS and fit just fine. No issues with the sun roof. Now banging my legs on the door when I get out is another question,
