LM-60 vs X-Ice Xi2 vs Scorpion Ice & Snow

So winter has arrived in many places and many of you now have snow to test out the Tires. (Many of you also have previous experience with these Tires) And I know many of you use Tirerack !!!

These are the choices I'm lookin at for my 2SS/RS

Blizzak LM-60's
Michelin X-Ice Xi2's
Pirelli Scorpion Ice & Snow's

Anyone have any complaints against any of the above aside from $$$.
I don't want to pay as much as the above options cost, but I don't want to settle for less when I paid so damn much for the car in the first place. Protecting my investment!! A small price to pay once every few years.
(Well a big price to pay once every few years). But you know what I mean!

So anyways, I'm looking for feedback/experience/ both good and bad in regards to any of the above..

Thanks!

Oh, some more details I guess that might help.
I'm in Vancouver, BC (Canada) We have frosty/icy ground right now.. no Snow yet, but we will get snow.. However I suspect as usual I will find myself facing a lot of ICE and quite a bit of slush... (both of these will occur more often than fresh snow).

My primary concerns, are traction grip & handling. and of course... I don't want to get STUCK... lol

Thanks again.

I drove into work today on three inches of ice and snow. I have brand new 18" Pirelli Scorpion Ice and Snows. Had no problems getting up the hill in front of our house. Had a little rear end slip once on the road. Then I realized I had like no gas in the tank. Filled her up in 8 degree cold, and then had no problems the rest of the way to work. Everybody drove like they had a brain in their heads. Tomorrow will be the real test, we are predicted to get another 6-9 inches. Yikes!!!!!

I went with 20" Blizzaks and new rims from tirerack - here's my thread with details and asking for member experience on the Blizzaks which was all highly positive - http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...light=Blizzaks

They're quiet, great traction on dry and wet roads. I have not driven them on icy / snowy roads as I'm driving the Camaro only on dry days and clear forecasts.

I'm trying the X-Ice xi2's.. they should be in tomorrow.. we have about 4" of snow with ice underneath and below zero temps.... should be a good test for them

Got like a foot or two of snow today just north of toronto. I recently purchased the scorpian's, and they were pretty good, not outstanding. I was slipping when turning, but this was without the road being plowed so that makes a difference. I'l let you know once i start driving a bit more in the snow how they feel.

I'm running LM-60's on a 2LT in that Toronto snow as well. Lots of traction there.
