Finally... better spy pics of the 2011 Challenger

From Left Lane News:

http://www.leftlanenews.com/dodge-challenger-2011.html

There is also updated news on pricing in their write-up...

Quote:
Reflecting its new engine, the Challenger’s base price will inflate from its current $23,695 to $25,305 – an increase of $1,610.

The mid-level Challenger R/T will remain relatively unchanged, but is still in line for a higher MSRP. The 2011 Challenger R/T will see a price increase from $31,610 to $32,770.

As expected, the Challenger SRT8 model will swap out its 6.1-liter V8 for a new 6.4-liter unit for the 2011 model year. No power figures were given for that motor, either, but we’ve heard rumors indicating it could produce as much as 500 horsepower. Unlike the other Challenger models, the SRT8 is listed as having a price decrease for 2011, dropping from its current price of $43,680 to $43,100.

I think the upgrades look great. It's about time the interior got tweaked and made to look nicer instead of having it the same as the Charger and 300...I like the new front fascia as well, it looks more mean.

I hope they don't make it over 500Hp. That might foil my plan of getting a Z/28.

Actually for the most part that is the same interior the CHallenger has always had. Only differences are the steering wheel and guage faces.

From what I am gathering this includes additional standard equipment such keyless start and proximity entry, 20 inch rims, and probably a few other things. To put that in perspective the 20 inch rims on the 10 I believe are a 1400 dollar option and keyless go, which doesn't include all the features of the new system, is part of a $1400 package. So why it seems the price is going up, to get the popular options included it should actually be cheaper than a 10. More than likely the SE will also have additional standard features to offset it's price increase. Also I said the SRT8 would stay the same or even get a price decrease and I was told no way, well now.......

I thought they were going to stop using the Ram symbol on their cars?

I think that is all that car needed was a 3 spoke steering wheel... it looks so much better and fits with muscle style so much better. I like it a lot... and it's good to finally see a different between the Challenger and Charger interiors.

I like it, definitely would have owned one if the Camaro did not come back.

Like the exterior of the car for sure, but why does the shift boot look like a stretched out dental dam?
