Good for her. A very strong & clear thinking woman. Maternal instinct is strong. Sometimes the good gals win. I bet she is glad she knew how to handle those weapons. So am I.

But I wish more "people" men and women would stand up for our rights. I mean come on, in this case she was on the phone with 911 for 20 minutes. They eventually broke in and she was alone with the baby (lost her husband on Christmas day to cancer). Good for her. Not sure why she didn't shoot the other guy, but my guess is he ran after his buddy got shot.

I hate criminals that prey on elderly, very young or other "easy" targets. They need to be dealt with in a similar fashion if they put people in harms way.

Good for this mom.

She was waiting to kill him had two guns and asked if she could shoot him in the yard.. LOL this was not a helpless damsel in distress but a gun toating NRA advocate.... good for her but she is not a meek oh my god what did I just do person.. She was waiting to kill him...LOL SO there is nothing amazing about it, it was closer to murder than self defense but again the perp got what he deserved. But really one warning shot into the front yard from the 12 ga is all it would have taken. BUt who knows if they could have come back better armed? SO I guess its just as well she got rid of scum and saved tax payers.

The 12 yr old protecting his sister was just as calm

My guess is they saw that she was young (with a baby) and would be an easy target.
Once he stepped in the door she exercised her right.
That does not sound like murder (per the previous post)
I wouldnt have fired a warning shot either.

She did it right, also saved the tax payers big money. Hope it sends a message to the criminals. Hold on to your second amendment!
