You typed it out flat wrong. I questioned it. You defended it. I proved it. Your buddy corrected you. You are the one that needs to get over yourself, and just admit when you are wrong. It would be much simpler just to say you typed it wrong, instead of arguing about it.

I just don't want some naive people contacting me, asking me for a set of 22" wheels/tires that weigh in at 22 lbs a corner, because some internet expert typed that they exist. LOL!!!!

I would however like to buy your broken scale, my wife would dig it since it reads too low

Like you know better you quoted that the wheel tire combo on my car was heavier than oem! Why you think I went with these wheels? I'm pulling the wheels off this weekend because the car goes in for painting so I'll post pictures of the weight of the stock oem and the assanti wheel/tire.

LOL. If you find that you are wrong again, would you be man enough to admit it? I'd ballpark that 22 w/ the 315-22 tire to be in the 55-65 lb range for one wheel. Asanti wheels are not the lightest, and even the lightweight 22s on the market are still heavy. Your friend that actually says he weighed the wheel itself was 22 lbs. We know the tire is 33 lbs.

You also stated the OEM wheel/tire was 42 lbs. No way possible. On my certified digital shipping scale, here is what I come up with for OEM wheels:

OEM 20x8 front wheel with Pirelli 245/45-20 tire = 63.5 lbs each
OEM 20x9 rear wheel with Pirelli 275/40-20 tire = 68.5 lbs each

Seems your scale reads about 20 lbs light, at least. Wal-Mart bathroom scale perhaps?

Also, I do have "lightweight" 22s/315s on my own Camaro, and yes they do weigh more than the OEM combo. Wider, bigger tire. Wider, bigger wheel. Where would the weight savings be found here?

Chill.....Out....., There's no reason to argue with Tony (NineBall)!!! He is probably the most knowledgeable and respected wheel vendor on this site. I would like to see your results though, I think you're in for a surprise!!!

Me too! I wish I could just find a 315-22 tire that weighed that little itself.

That's fine I don't have anything more to say about the issue at all. He deals with tires and wheels and I deal with another profession. I'm sure he is correct
