Well I just put a big 80's playlist together to honour my dear old dad. It's kinda a "Wally's Top 40". This what I'll be playing for my maiden voyage through the city.
It's got a bunch like Michael Jackson's Billie Jean, Eagles' Life In The Fast Lane, Men At Work's Down Under, and a big ole mixture of the 80's best, right outta dad's collection. Cant wait to crank it!!

Funny I found this thread cause I spent a while thinking about this exact subject - my hubby thought I was crazy putting so much thought into this!
Even though my usual listening genre is "Adult Alternative" - after much deliberation I chose Kid Rock's Bawitdaba as the song to crank up with the windows down and the sunroof open when I drove her off the lot 4 days ago... It was AWESOME! |

Wow... I've been away from the Camaro5 forums for a while (off getting married/buying a house/having a kid... being an adult) and just this evening I rediscovered this thread that I started oh-so-many years ago!!!! I am amazed and awed that it has stretched to over a thousand posts of amazing music and excitement for this awesome car! I hope everyone has had a chance to listen, laugh, and light-'em-up in the intervening years!
I was back here looking for some info on the Family-Sized Camaro (Chevy SS), and now I have an awesome playlist (compiled from this thread) ready to go when it arrives!

Definately Flower by Moby (Gone in Sixty Seconds Theme). I know im gonna get grief from you guys because the "star" in that movie was a GT500, but still an awesome movie and awesome song.
