generic(cheap) catch cans...
..do work. Installed mine ^6500 miles(now @ 7200), and have removed about 2 tablespoons of residual oil. Better than not having one. Bolted mine to the front left engine cover pole(don't use cover anyways).

An empty soda can with two fittings will catch some oil vapor but without any filtration or baffling far more passes straight through than gets caught. Yes, it is better than nothing but not by a lot.

Better than nothing, yes. But there's a reason the catch cans we use on the Camaros are made for Corvettes lol
