Well PZeros are a summer tire. So I would highly expect them to spin in snow, ice, rain and colder temps. Also burnouts kill tires

Per the manufacturer, they are warrantied for 45k miles if rotated / cared for properly. They will cover half this amount if the front tires are a different size than the rear.
I would suggest limiting burnouts and hard launches unless you enjoy spending money on tires. Burnouts will eat tires EXTREMELY quickly. Get a tread depth measuring tool - only a couple dollars at an auto parts store. Look at how much tread the tires came with new (per manufacturer website or easy to find on Tire Rack), and how much you have left - will give you an approximate rate at how fast you are eating through your tires. I am assuming tires wear at an even pace, but say brand new they had 12/32. Failing your state inspection is 2/32 (or at whatever point you plan on replacing them), so 10/32 of usable life. If at 5,000 miles you have 9/32 remaining, you have used 3/32. 3 over the 10/32 available means you have used 30% of the life of your tire. Take your 5000 miles on the tires, divide by 30%, (5000/0.30) and you'll get approximately 16,666 miles out of the tire. All these numbers are arbitrary - measure your own tires and see what they came with new to come up with an approximation. On the Pzero summer tire for SS models, I am going to get approximately 22,000 miles out of mine, you should be able to do significantly better than that with the same size at all four corners, especially with a longer life tire.

You'll get about twenty thousand miles on the rears , a little more on the front. I squeezed 27000 out of my rears but they are slick.

There's no right answer to this question because it depends on how you drive.
I used the P-Zeros mostly for touring and got 50,000 miles out of the fronts. The rears were probably good for another 10K, but I replaces all four together with all season tires. |
