Well in our 90 degree heat and 90% humidity, the cooled seats are GREAT!

Standard seats are amazingly comfortable and hug your sides. No need for recaros.

Agreed, unless you track, they are just for bling like big brakes. But they do look cool.

Agreed. They are one of many... but when people hear Sparco, Corbeau, or Cobra, it doesn't carry the gravitas that Recaro does. Marketing? Maybe...

It's like 'good' tequila. Everyone thinks Patron brand because they spent so much money on advertising, when there are many other brands as good or better for the same money.

There's no reason to believe that Recaros in the 6th gen wouldn't include heating & cooling.

Hmm.. I did not know this! Thats great news!

Yea, I think like others have said, offered but not yet. Recaros on Gen 5 weren't available until 2014 model year. Hopefully its sooner than that. I am hoping they go the Stingray route and do an in house competition seat.

I'm sure we'll see a Recaro option later on. Right now, GM is building this car with the options that were big sellers on the previous model. They're not putting a lot options that didn't get much penetration for the intitial run. We'll end up seeing things like PDR and Recaros later.
