2016 Camaro Convertible Top While Driving (Video)

I'm planning to buy a '17 Convertible, so I've been sort of following obsessively to learn as much as I can about the car. I know production on the 'verts started a month ago, and it looks like the media is starting to get their first looks/drives/reviews of the various trims. One thing I hadn't seen outside of the original promo video was the top operation in motion. This video was just posted yesterday, and toward the end you can see the top up/down action from a couple of angles.

I'm pretty sure I see sun visors in Saabkyle04's review video.

Wow! I love the whit with the black top. This car may very well make me a vert owner again, and I said I would never own another one. Very nice.

Yes, there are sun visors. They're smallish, and recessed up in the windshield frame.

My understanding is that you can lower or raise the top at speeds up to 30mph. Does that also include in reverse?

As much as I love that new hard tonneau cover, I'm beginning to think it would look better if the area inside / forward of the weather strip were either black or matched whatever the interior color is.

I enjoyed my '11 2LT/RS convertible for nearly 5 years, and had zero problems with it. I don't know if I'll buy another Camaro, but the 6th Gen improves on the 5th Gen in every aspect, IMHO. (I've bookmarked Saabkyle04's video for later viewing, since I don't have half an hour for it right now. But it was interesting to see what looks like a dark grey metallic with the Kalahari top and interior. That would be my color choice, if I were to buy, but with a black top, instead.)

That's a good idea... Photoshop request!

Yes I agree... I think that was the goal, but I'm sure it's easier said than done on a quick Photoshop job. It's nice to be able to visualize it at least. If you look at it from a distance you can't really see the texture difference at all. I think I like it
