Had a different dealership look at it. Seems like they have a few gear heads behind the counter. They talked to GM and they think it is a first gear syncro problem. Trans is coming out today. Gonna have them install the Tick remote slave bleeder line while it is out.

Heard from the dealership today. New trans on its way per GM. Not sure what they found yet.

That is good news. GM standing behind their cars. Curious if they will provide you with details.

The front desk guy seems to be fairly knowledgable and is a car guy, so I think I will get the low down when I pick it up. I wonder if it was more than just 1st gear syncros. Obviously not the Motul 600 brake fluid I am using like the 1st dealer thought!!!

Evidently, it wasn't the brake fluid! The new trans is in and operating normally. They took my original trans apart at the dealership and couldn't find anything wrong with it. After they discussed the situation with GM, they wanted the dealership to install a new trans.

I'm liking the approach GM has been taking with our Z28's... that's heartening to hear, especially since I have an extended and not factory warranty.

Glad it's fixed! Now go rip some roads!
