first tank of gas I got a little under 20 but I did a lot of idleing talking to people about her. Second tank 21.9. and I hear it will continue to get better the more it breaks in. I'm only ~800 miles as of this morning. 2LT/RS and have only gone over 4k RPM twice...yes I know I read the manual and it said no go over 4k rpm in first 1500 miles you idiot.

Average is 16.9 after 1850 miles.

Only 93 octane used from day 1

Driving in 60-70% city/secondary roads.
During regular everyday driving I really take it
easy on the acceleration. Play days
are coming around more now that she is
broken in!!!!!

Hwy driving is yielding about 22-23 MPG

I am even keeping the MPG display on in an attempt to increase it, but its not doing much good. NOTE: A/C is on all the time since its 101 everyday now! I am at 1300 miles right now. 2SS LS3 6-Spd
That's similar to me. 15-16mpg with 90% city/backroads 10% highway. No AC though. And mine's an auto w/700 miles.

I drive 80/20 highway/City plus the AC is on most of the time, The car has 2015 mi on it, Car averages 22 MPG, I drive at 75-85 MPH on the highway.
Hwy driving is yielding about 23.5-26 MPG.

I decided to see what kind of milage I could get if I behaved. I made about a 30 mile round trip tonight. This is Pittsburgh where there are no straight or level roads. Lots of steep hills and turns. The roads I was on were all 35 or 40 mph. I shifted around 2000rpm and excellerated at the speed of the rest of the traffic. My milage went from a 2 week average of 13.2 up to 17.1 on this outing.

Call me crazy, but I've never gave two spits about the gas mileage. I'm an auto freak and I only care about how well it performs. Gas mileage for me is sooo at the bottom of the list. I actually drive my vehicles instead of trying to squeeze that last mile out of the gas tank.

If GM or Ford or Chrysler or whoever says their autos get x amount of mileage, just deduct a couple of MPG and then you should be close and in the end, does it really matter anyway?

Drive what you like and drive how you like. Don't sweat the details. Just have some fun while you're alive!

I am getting about 19mpg on my L99 after about 900 miles.

Mostly cruising and showing off the car at this point, and of course no shortage of stop light drags. :-)

I have really noticed it loosening up and feeling more powerful and louder these last couple of hundred miles. Still too quiet... I think a muffler delete is in my future.

I am getting 20 mpg with a 2LT A6. Mostly stop and go highway miles and some city. Wonder what I would get with an SS with the same conditions?

16 to 18 most of the time, but that is mostly city or back roads. I took it down the highway the other day. I averaged 23.6.

I am still learning to drive an automatic...LOL

I can't seem to keep my foot out of it. It is just so much fun.

I am going on a road trip tomorrow from Fredericksburg VA to corrolla NC (outer banks). I am taking WKDFIRE with me. I will see how she does then. It should be around 5 to 6 hours straight driving at highway speeds.
