Real world MPG from real drivers......
Okay, so there was a thread where a couple people said they were getting 24, 25 MPG, but they both said that was pretty much highway miles.
What are you guys getting in town? I'm just curious. I know it will be far better than the 14 I get in my Silverado, but how much better? I don't want EPA numbers either. They don't mean $h1t....I want to know what actual people are getting from their own cars. Thanks to any of you who share information. |

15.3....BUT and that's a BIG but....I'm just learning to drive a stick shift so I'm sure that number will improve as I won't be stalling out as much and I'll be able to shift smoother
Oh yeah, LS3

In the city I have been getting 19.7 on the LS3. I already said what I get on the hwy which is 25.2. Gotta know how to drive the car and not get excited everytime you get ready to move and you will get great gas mileage.

I would imagine (based on some the crazy numbers that vette owners have gotten) that LS3 6M owners could average in the neighborhood of 19 or 20 on a regular basis with 60/40 Highway/City miles. I used to average 22mpg on a regular basis in my 01 Cobra.
But that being said, if you're "worried" about how much gas mileage you're gonna get, dont buy a camaro! That simple. I like to keep track of my MPG, but when it REALLY boils down to it. I dont care what I get, the smile on my face is my meter of enjoyment!

Agreed, I don't really care....like I said, I drive a Silverado Crew Cab Z71, so MPG has never been my biggest concern. I was more just curious.
Thanks for all the input. |
