Carbon Fiber Inserts?
Does anyone know where I can find some carbon fiber door and dash inserts to replace the stock ones? I have a 1LT/RS, and the cloth ones aren't doing it for me! I don't mind if the are hydrodipped. That is the more cost efficient way anyways... Thanks in advance!

If you're willing to go for hydrodipped, you might consider just taking off the cloth and wrapping them in carbon fiber 3m vinyl. Probably more cost effective!

I agree, carbon wrap looks better than hydrodipped to me.

I'm not very handy myself, I was just hoping to buy panels and have someone else install them. I would consider letting someone else do the wrap too, but I can't be without my car! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I am having a guy do my whole interior bezels and trim and he is doing my engine cover also. He is doing it for cheap for me and he sent me a few pictures and it looks awesome! He is doing my engine cover bright blue carbon fiber in the middle and black carbon fiber on the sides. He is also doing my taillight bezels too. I will have the pictures up by friday when he gets done with them. I am also getting my cloth dipped carbon fiber too. If you would like to send me the sides I can get a quote for you and get them dipped for you, are you going to do the dash inserts too? He did my whole interior and the engine compartment for an amazing price!

I Searched high and low to find this website. I think it's exactly what you are looking for.
http://www.rpidesigns.com/shop/item.aspx?itemid=3133 You will have to drill new holes but from what I have been told it's not that much of an issue. |

I agree =\. Does anyone know if removing the cloth and getting it hydro-dipped will make it not look right? I figured it fits snugly with the cloth and removing it would leave a gap of some sorts.

Hi,
I took my dash and door inserts to a special shop and they wrapped it with real carbon fiber. The also did my door kick plates. Ambient lighting is still working. I enclosed a few pictures. |
