Hard to compete w/ AWD off the line ... I'd like to know what each ran though .. they didn't say did they?

Wait a minute he said the supersnake was spinning its wheels in 1st and 2nd gears? Hell,he didnt even spin em comming off the line,plus if you watch closely in the video the front end drops numerous times, I dont care how fast a car is, its not worth a hoot if you cant and dont know how to drive it!

that GT-R is a beast tho...i wonder how it would go toe 2 toe with an SS camaro(with somebody that can drive of course lol)

If a supersnake is no contest for it an ss wouldn't even be allowed at the same race track with it. I do believe this test is not very valid and I believe it was set up to keep our japanese brothers and sisiters entertained.

I lol'd at them honestly using an Asian person to announce the testing.

But the SS will be no where near the GT-R at all... the GT-R is an amazing car. But I believe with the right driver, the SSS will be a lot closer to the GT-R than the video leads the public to believe.

what about any modded 5th gen camaro so far? or maybe the z28? probably not. i guess just a corvette could beat that.

i think the GTR had 2 advantages that played a MAJOR roll in this.

1) the car drives itself
2) the KR doesnt have the stickiest tires in the world. not nearly enough to tame the power that it has

The Super Snake is a paper tiger. Looking at its specs and it seems impressive. But the key is grip, and it has relatively little. Its roughly as capable as the regular GT500, for an extra 35 grand. If it had slightly wider wheels and drag radials it might have ran the GTR down. But it gives up a solid half second up to 60 mph, maybe more. Thats a lot to try and make up for.

It was supposed to lose. They were showing what the votes had tallied up and trying to recreate it on the track while being creative. FAIL.
