Well,

I just ordered magnaflow mufflers part# 10416 and a tru x-pipe 10791.

Should I stick with the center pipes and just install the magnaflow mufflers or should I do the x pipe in place of the them?

With the stock mufflers the decel pop is weird right around 1k rpm putting through lights I get pop, pop, pop.
Letting off. Its ok coming off of higher speed but not so much at 15mph. Maybe the stock mufflers affect that?

My other huge gripe is rattle around 2k. I folded the heat sheild not sure where it is coming from??

Idea's?

At the shop now. Guys here are telling me if i put the x pipe in place of the center pipes it will be loud and raspy w the magnaflow muffler? I thought these are mellow?

Should I leave the center tubes in place of the x?

The X pipe definitely has rasp to it. I know mine does. But I like it personally.

In the interest of time, I just had the magnaflow mufflers installed and it certainly perked things up!

Guys look at my pics in post #7 and tell me that is a stock exhaust? The guys there were trying to say oh these resonators are stock, wtf!! I'm like the resonator in center is a rectangle garbage can as oppossed to the two bullets pictured above and they continued on..

I like the exhaust and it only seems loud/throaty around low rpms under load. Getting on it through the gearsis load initially and then it seems to purr and doesn't appear as loud as slow and low rpms?

Any ideas why?

Well got a brief clip. I have a phone clip that obscures the visual, but the audio is crisp, lol. If you like pops, 30 second to 37 there they are.

Maybe its the accoustics but no way does it sound so loud in car.

That really is tame. An x pipe would liven things up for sure.
