Did anyone else go to Carlisle this weekend?

I took my 5 year old daughter to Carlisle today thinking I'd meet a few of you... Where the hell was everyone? Just joking. I didn't see another Z/28 at the fairgrounds. My daughter knows a Z/28 and I told her to keep her eyes peeled for one. She said "Daddy, I think yours is the only one here". I laughed and reminded her they didn't make all that many.

Saw a white ZL1 1LE. Nice car, but sorry, it may be faster but...way too much going on with that car. The looks don't strike me like the Z/28 does.

Anyway, wish I could've met a few of you today but...no one freaken showed up!

I was the one behind the UMI trailer.

I saw one red one parked at the top of the hill. We walked over to the autoX area and there was another black one parked too.

I was there...I had the Krypton green 1LE parked across from you.
I did see a black one parked by the auto x track. I voted for your car by the way, did you win ?

I was at Frederick, MD at Camaro Nationals having our 68Z being judged for Legends Concours so never had a chance to go to Carlisle which we normally do. Sorry I missed some of you.....

You were parked across from me. I have to check, I wasn't there on Sunday.

Sharp 1LE, I like that color. GM usually never did anything bright like that other than yellow.

I was gonna say, it must've been you he was talking about. I did see his green 1LE which looked great BTW. . Don't know how I missed your car. I was parked out with the regular cars since I didn't pre-register.

I have been to Carilse 5 years straight, this year by far was the lowest turn out - I belive they name changing had EVERYTHING to do with it "CHEVROLET NATIONALS" which kinda shunned - the olds buick and pontiac guys - yet there were a few here and there but in years past would be lines and line of GN and GNX this year was maybe 3 ... no GBODY regals it was SAD

Umm, I have to disagree. Granted, it's not the Ford, Mopar, or Corvette show regarding turnout. I thought it was pretty good, last year was okay but before that it was less. More vendors or guys selling parts and the Nova show had around 150 cars alone.

Very few BOP guys have never show up at this show. Also if you listened to the weather man you had the weekend written off only a couple days prior.

I was at Camaro Nationals. Sounds like I went to the best show for Camaros. We had a great time this year.

We were in Concours Legends judging which is a 5000 point system vs. other bow tie type judging of 1000 points. Judging sheets to be mailed but we received Gold but the highest is Platinum (98% or better). They spent over 4 hours judging the car but the neatest thing was the original owners from FL were there to see the car for the first time in 43 years and it was quite a reunion.
