I just did the same to mine, but ultimately they will be powder coated, this is just temp so I can see the difference...

3 things came to mind after my plasti dip, one looks crazy good with red clip covers or painted red break clipper, two red pin stripe to circle the rim and 3 to complete the transformation drop it down an inch or 1.25 max

Will post some pics next week, couple of other mods are in play as well...

I tend to like the ZL1 black wheels more than painting my SS wheels, but that means extra cash.

I will park my temptations aside for a while as I'm planning on adding some performance mods soon.

Dan, Plastidip is just a temp solution for wheels as it is a major spot to attack road rash and trash. Other places for plastidip like bowties can last much longer. It is basically just flat black plastic in a bottle you spray.

Powder coat is a permanent "paint" solution. It is actually fine particles of powder that get put onto the wheels and once cured, will last a very long time.

What did you use to paint your calps red? I am wanting to do it but haven't done the research on it yet. Plus I am dropping $4k on performance mods coming up so I don't think the wife will be happy with me throwing another project in before. Maybe a month or two after I can buy some good paint that will last for the calps.
