I've been lurking.

Seriously, I took a couple month hiatus from the site. I found myself spending too much time here and online in general. I needed to step away for a bit.

I see you're still doing one thing after another to that beast of yours. Can't wait to see the new block and everything else on your above list.

I'd like to get over that magic number of 1000 RWHP (on dope of course), but the LSX is just as much for safety. Running as much power as I have on the stock block has always been a risk, and there's no way it would last forever. The LSX just makes it bulletproof, and lets me use the Whipple to it's full capabilities.

I never planned any of this. This car stock was the fastest car I've ever owned. I was going to put in an exhaust and be done with it, but one thing has just led to another. I'll obviously run it at the track, but my goal all along has been to keep it as a viable street car. I don't want to start dealing with parachutes and cutting up the dash for a 10 point cage. I was really excited just getting into the 10s. Low tens will be nice, and obviously high nines would be amazing. I'm not a serious racer, so my ultimate goal is just to have fun. That adrenaline rush when you go down the track is amazing.

I really do more car shows and street meets than anything, but it sure will look good on my display if it says 1000 RWHP.

Thats the recipe.

Add 1 forged LSX
Mix in a dash of methanol
Stir in a 300 shot of nitrous

Serves many 1/4 mile contenders

Nice... Very nice...

That setup will take a pounding and just keep on running.

Can't wait to see it run.

No...got some other stuff we're doing that will take longer.

New driveshaft loop for the 4L80
Paint and clear the engine bay
Install the removable door bar for the cage
Front wheel studs to match the rears (so I can have one set of wheel locks)
MSD Ignition

A few other goodies.
