I have Pacesetter long-tubes, no cats, and Magnaflow cat-back. It's pretty loud and I love the way it sounds. I think if my car had cats though it'd be too quiet for me.

I've heard a lot of exhaust systems and nothing does it for me like a simple Magnaflow bullet. The tone is deep and menacing, it's loud, just awesome. My last 2 LS1 4th gens I've had LTs, ORY and bullets, when I get a 5th gen I'm doing the same thing. A lot of people love the GMMG exhaust but I wasnt impressed (loud but it's missing the low growl that I like) and the only SLP exhaust that did anything for me was the 2OTL from my 30th Anniv SS.

On my '01 V6 I have a Flowmaster with a nice set of crome Magnaflow Z28 style tips. I'd say it sounds pretty agressive. I appologise for the lack of hard revs, I do live in an apt complex and my neighbors like me for now. :P
I'm just waiting for the video to finish uploading and ill post the link.

Personally, I like for a cheap/loud set up. I like a simple cutout. Then when you go to do the exhaust you can cover then uncover. Espesially on the LT1.

Anyone have video of what the car sounds like without a muffler? I've always wondered.

Does sound pretty good, I wonder if you can get away with a set of LT's on her?

I went with Kooks LT's, cated Y-Pipe, and a Corsa exhaust. My wife knows when I'm coming home from a half a mile away. It's deep and has a baso profundo note that is absolutely unmistakable.
