I believe those shots are of the LS3 mufflers posted elsewhere. Maybe i should just hack mine up, lol, I'm not going to put them back on!

VERY EASY to tell with NO cutting.
Take app. 3 ft. piece of string tie a weight on it ( example large heavy nut or large washer etc.) the turn the muffler so you can let the weight fall through the inlet pipe & out the tip.........(or you could use a wire, but not as good)
If it does then it is straight thru.............
Let us know...........

Guess im going this route with the LS3 mufflers instead of aftermarket exhaust...for a while! Well, when i get my car!

Each v6 muffler that I took off my car was at least 4-5 lbs heavier that the L99 muffler I installed. I think it's safe to say that there is more restriction on the v6 mufflers.

Did you weigh the L99 ? How much does the L99 muffler weigh ?

We will find out if the V6 is straight thru as soon as someone ck's one like I said.

We know the ones you put on are NOT straight thru. ( we saw the photos of them)

If nobody ck's there V6 mufflers I will get mine out of my attic & ck. them.

So fishtail, you think the the LS3 exhaust will sound more raspier then the L99 exhaust becuause of its straight through design?

No I didn't weigh it but the diffrence was noticeable.
