Red fifth gen At Button Dodge in Kokomo, Indiana for sale
I was driving by Button dodge today trying to get to the cadillac dealer, and I saw this in the corner of my eye!
So I immediately turn around and pull in. I find an older man looking at it and boy was he excited. He proceded to tell me that, "this was a 2010 camaro". And if that wasn't enough, he also told me that GM was only going to make the camaro for one year. After that we began to discuss how much we thought the price of the car was, (while a third vehicle pulled into the dealer with a shocked look on their face) Stupidly I opened my mouth finally and told him the car was a V6, It had the RS package on it, and the V6 starts in the low twenties and that this one would MSRP for 27-28 grand. He looked at me like I was nuts. He told me I wouldn't be able to touch this car for less than 35 thousand. At this time I am majorly facepalming. I had given up. He went up to the window and came back telling me to my face with a grin. They wanted 34,900!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:confused00 68: I proceded to say to myself, okay buddy. More power to ya, Your getting screwed! |

"Hey salesman, will ya take less than 40 grand for the V6 Camaro???"
"Matter of fact, I will, how does 39,995 sound?" |

Well still you never know how low they would go unless you got into the "let me ask my manager" back and forth.

In my opinion they didn't want to sell the car at all. They had it parked right beside an challenger R/t. So I Believe they were comparing it to thier chally, so people will test drive the V6, then they will test drive the chally and be like. WOW, this chally has a lot more power. And believe me that guy I was talking to, had no Idea he was looking at the V6 camaro.

Haha, wow. That's very depressing that it was sitting there :( . Why can't someone bring a used one to my dad's chevy dealership so that he'll just buy it for me?

That dumb. Not only does he now know anything about the car, but they are trying to take advantage for somebody that doesn't know about it and just like it for the looks.

For that place it may make sense to just use it for bait and or try to find a whale.
I know it's wrong. When I was looking for another project car I test drove a blazer and the sales mgr comes out of office with a baby. I told him "dude that's just wrong" and he laughed. His wife was there too, the office was full of baby stuff like rocker etc. I.E. I was gonna buy that car at that point help them out lol. |
