Same here...must be one of those eye things like that stupid dress.

I would happily change to orange but I would also want the LED fog lights done too.

This is correct. The ring shaped LED bulbs on the 5th gen's head lights were called halos, which is what those lights are referred to on BMWs as well.

Eh, I can't win today. I'm just adding to the confusion.

Yes, 5th gen Camaro headlights = "halos".

6th gen Camaro headlights = LED accent lighting, or whatever term you want to use. It's pretty much a prolific design trend across the entire industry at this point, so I'm sure there's a better name for it.

Yeah, you see people with them but you have no idea how long they get away with it.
Most states most colors on the front and rear are tightly regulated, so if you DO get the mod, make sure you can run legal colors when necessary.
A friend of my son did the whole underglow and accent light kit on a crap Mustang he had. He didn't even make it 1 day before he was ticketed and told to rip it all out.

Yes had the "halo" on my 5th gen and actually over 6 years of owning only stopped once for red halo's when I was actually out of town. I ran them constantly around Dallas Fort Worth and would get thumbs up from police sitting across from intersections. Maybe it was because of my car? Who knows but never once got a ticket locally. I don't own a 6th gen yet, but would definitely be interested in this option for the Leds.
