Not sure if i should get myself a dashcontrol.
For the guys who own it, do you recommend it?

Yes It gives you display access to just about every PID plus you can set alerts if a PID reaches a threshold you set. Very easy to setup and config. Works very well when displaying just to the DIC, gets unpredictable when trying to display to HUD and/or Mylink radio in addition to the DIC. Would I buy it again knowing what I now know...absolutely!

Bringing this back but has the bugs got worked out. Really wanting one but I dont need the headaches if it hasn't been fixed in the past 3 to 4 years.

Use it here with an Innovate Motorsports Wideband. Love a lot of the features. Have a Visual and Aural alarm setup for AFR limit and IATs. Still not sure if got AFR adjusted correctly. Meth Car and drive me Crazy at Idle. Dinging and Flashing "AFR Limit" on the HUD. Thought took a short video of AFRs but can't find. Going to have Tuner take a look at it.

I had this thing and hated it. It didn't read alcohol% correctly, it would randomly freeze, and (I have the DSX kit) when my aux fuel pump would come on it would only read the FP on the primary pump. I could see my FP drop at WOT and it scared the crap out of me. Concept is awesome but the execution was not amazing. I ended up going with an ngaunge and mounted it in the vent. Haven't looked back since... until last week when my black car was in 100* heat and I could only get AC from the center console haha

I still have it and still use it. I never had any issues, however, I mainly use it to open and close my dual-mode exhaust. I do like that I can display the horsepower in real time on the radio for passengers to see. However, I'm sure that it is not accurate, but my passengers don't need to know that.

Meh...

With all the negative reviews, limitations and lack of upgrades, I just went with a Pillar Pod with Aeroforce gauges.

Hit the Cruise Control by mistake and Ding Quiet Mode came up. WT. is that lol. No quiet mode on this Car lol Now know what this is. Miss the HUD Tach and you have to remove the box to Datalog. Think just Going to Install Aeroforce for AFR and call it a day.
