2010 Camaro won't start - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hi gang,
My son took my Camaro to the local beach. His friend spilled soda on the fob and he was not able to unlock the car with fob, so he unlocked the car by the door.
He then attempted to start the car and got "Attempted Theft" message. He was then able to use the fob to unlock the car.
Now the car won't start and there's this light on. It looks like car with a lock around it.

Sorry about your troubles. Its locked in security mode. Not sure if any locksmiths can perform the task now days, but used to, you had to take to the dealership and have them unlock it. I had a '03 s-10 Extreme that done that about 1 or 2 times every couple months, needless to say I didnt keep it long after that started.
