Maybe they can supply a 1-800 number you can call and they will send out a support truck to tune your car every track weekend. New tires included .
Its in the works, I've heard its only going to be for U.S. Buyers, kind of like Bowling Green for Corvettes.

Thanks for all the great thread, keep going - NONE are "done" until you stop posting in them!

Vote for the thread/Question above that you wish to ask Al and the Camaro Team. The poll will close on Tuesday the 17th, at midnight EST. At that point, we'll pass the question on, and eagerly await a reply from the powers that be!
Thanks Mods,

My question was beat fair and square.

Can I resubmit it for a chance next month?

Wouldn't you guys at least want to know if the springs, sta-bars, and MagneRide calibrations were regular-production stock, optionally available, available through GMPP, or one-off stuff that would be flat-out unavailable through any channel?

Maybe especially the MagneRide.

Mfrs running their products at the 'Ring isn't the same thing as spec class racing where everybody has to run the same make/model car and where detail specs really would be 'racing secrets'. It's not going to matter one bit to Porsche or Lamborghini what the ZL1 1LE was running for, say, rear wheel alignment settings.

I think it was already published that the car was completely stock, except for the driver's seat and rollbar installed. However, the stabilizer bar settings, ride height, alignment, and tire pressure would have been adjusted for the specific track and driver preferences.

Also, FYI: The ZL1 1LE uses DSSV dampers (not MR dampers).

Just knowing those things would provide a better starting point.

Thanks for that. Though I suppose they could have selected the best or best matched pairs out of a hundred or more even if they didn't have them valved a little differently than what regular production for consumers get.

I have no doubt the Engineering Team added all their "Tricks of the Trade" and pulled out all the stops.

I was hoping to get that insight

So when does the question get asked, and where can we see the answers? My 16' SS does not act like the first video, but it's also not as apparent as the second video.

When? The only answer I can provide is 'soon'. Hang around the site long enough and you'll learn that is pretty much our only answer as to when anything will happen.

Where? Watch this section. The answer will get its own thread and there will also be an archive thread with all submitted questions & their answers.

Yeah I'm kind of disappointed with that one. Hasn't NLS been around since the Cobalt SS? Surely there is some info on it.

Then again, the campaigning has been fierce.

Yup, the turbo Cobalt SS had it (not sure about the supercharged one). I don't know why some people seem to be struggling with this feature.

The '08 turbo Cobalt did have a NLS feature, but that does not answer the specific questions that were asked about its implementation on the 6th gen SS.

Based on the poll results, about half the people on this site that voted would disagree. I still have not seen an answer to the specific questions that were raised. Posting a NLS video that shows the car banging into the 6500rpm rev limiter does not help, unless that's how the engineers tuned the feature (we'll know for sure soon!). Even then, it doesn't explain why the feature appears to be functioning differently between the SS and SS 1LE, based on the videos posted in the original thread.
