Got my windscreen installed today.Looks Great.I never could get the 2 bolts tight,tried all the tips.I found one post and went with it.Remove the 2 side and center covers[very easy,they pop right off].Replace the 2 bolts with 1/4x1 1/4 bolts with a flat washer under the bolt head [to simulate the washer on the original] then put a lock washer with the nut on the inside. The 1 1/4 bolt is a bit longer than the original and gives you plenty of room to slide the brackets in.It tightened right up and i would have saved alot of time if i had done this to begin with.Wired mine to the console outlet.
