2013 Camaro Project V6 to V8!
Hey guys, just thought I'd share my progress on my car! So I have a 2013 camaro lt2 rs that came with the 3.6 automatic. Last year I fitted a eaton m90 supercharger to that with watermeth injection and all the works. Well needless to say it did not work as I had imagined. So midway through last year I decided to take the 3.6 out and replace it with a 5.3 LM7 engine. I installed a BTR stage 4 truck cam with matching valve springs, shorty headers, bbk testpipes, ls1 clutch setup with hydraulic throw out bearing, stand alone fuse block, and stock LM7 pcm. Then I paired it wit a four speed richmond super t-10transmission from a circle track car upgraded by Rol-tek. I have it running and driving now and am working on the gauges at the moment. I just installed my new tach yesterday and just need to wire it in. My build was basically to build a nascar for the street. It is almost exactly what you would expect. Very fun to drive.

I am tuning with HPtuners mpvi2. I have a basic tune setup so it runs and idles but is still in the safe zone. I have to buy a wideband yet to dial it in and make more power but that will come in time. And yes in my garage lol. I am a gm mechanic by trade so it's not too bad. I get to play on the creeper alot, ( easier on the back!).

The controller on the firewall is for the electronic throttle control and the ECM is the stock lm7 ecm.

Thanks for the encouraging words guys! As far as the m90 supercharger, it couldn't pump enough air into the engine even with a smaller pulley. Also I didnt have a good intercooler to install so I had to use watermeth injection. I actually just got a Precision turbo donated to me for my 5.3 and will more than likely be installing that this coming winter!
